Fashioning Worlds

She stood in front of the mirror, head tilted, a frown puckering the skin between her eyebrows. The suit was as lovely here as it had been in Barney's. She'd never thought she looked good in red, but she did.

Damn good.

Crimson threads of raw silk and wool. Red heels, Hermes scarf. Definitely not what up and coming ADAs were wearing this year. Too rich, too brassy. But then, she wasn't an ADA anymore.

Serena turned, not even glancing back as she left her apartment. She had the clothes. Now it was time to fashion for herself a new world.
